How
does the service work?
|
Quake
City Shuttle operates airport shuttle service in
Northern California and San Francisco Bay Area.
This is a door-to-door service, we pick you up
at your residence, business, or hotel, and
deliver you to the airport of your choice and
vise versa. We offer shared ride which is
cheaper but you have to share a ride with other
people or you can charter the whole van. Here
are procedures for each airport we service.

San
Francisco International Airport (SFO)
If you need to get to San Francisco
International Airport you make a reservation on
this site (this will be explained further) then
the van will pick you up on the time and date at
the location specified and take you to the
airport and airline of your choice. From San
Francisco it is usually 30 to 45 min from
the time that you get in the van. We
usually give a 15 min window for the pick up
time because some passengers before you might
not be ready on time therefore delaying
everybody, or due to traffic and weather
conditions. Keep in mind that there a lot of
cities in Northern California and travel time is
based on mileage and road conditions.
If
you need to get out of San Francisco
International Airport you make a reservation on
this site, please do not forget to put your
flight number, the name of the airline, and the
time it is scheduled to arrive. If
you made a reservation and received the
confirmation number, when you arrive and receive
your luggage, call 415.255.4899, this
will connect you to live dispatcher, the van
will be sent by dispatcher. (you probably will
be picked up in one of the courtyards on lower
level, please be patient because all vans should
get police clearance before entering a
courtyard, you will be given a van number by the
dispatcher.
Please
note that if you are going from San Francisco
International Airport to the City and County of
San Francisco you do not need a reservation if
there is less than 3 passengers in your party.
In this case when you receive your
luggage go to upper level, outer curb, locate
door-to-door van stop, talk to live coordinator
for further instructions. (information on
door-to-door stands is provided further) We
depart form SFO about every 20 to 30 min.

Oakland
International Airport (OAK)
If you need to get to Oakland International
Airport you make a reservation on this site then
the van will pick you up on the time and date at
the location specified and take you to the
airline of your choice. Travel time from
San Francisco to Oakland International
Airport is
about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on where
you are in the city and traffic conditions.
If
you need to get out of Oakland International
Airport you make a reservation on this site,
please do not forget to put your flight number,
the name of the airline, and the time it is
scheduled to arrive. If you made a
reservation and received the confirmation
number, when you arrive and receive your
luggage, call 415.255.4899, this will
connect you to live dispatcher, the van will be
sent by dispatcher. You will be instructed
to go outside, cross the intersection, locate
door-to-door airport shuttle stop.
Dispatcher will give you the van number and how
soon it will be there, usually it takes 5 to 7
minutes. Reservations always needed.
